Leadership Training

Most organizations are over-managed and under-led (Kotter 1980). Organizations sustain success through leadership. We work with clients to deeply understand their context. Together we draw out the leadership skills and dispositions to build leadership capacity across the organization. We design, facilitate, and teach the identified skills and dispositions in leadership training workshops.

Executive Coaching

Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximize their own performance; helping them to learn rather than teaching them. We provide Personal Coaching to organization executives. Executives develop a Personal Vision. We collaborate with the executive to design a future focused Action Learning Plan to move toward the vision. Coaching sessions with each leader are designed and implemented at the site of their area of responsibility to support their continued implementation of Personal Action Plans. We act as personal coaches to Executives throughout the year. In addition to the face-to-face personal coaching sessions at the worksite we communicate on a regular basis by telephone, virtual meetings, and e-mail.

Whole-Staff Alignment

Leadership capacity flourishes when an organization’s core values, and systems and structures work in alignment. Alignment is of benefit to all people associated with the organization. It means people can plan what they do, knowing the direction will not change. Knowing that there is sureness of purpose is a great gift. We are expert at collaborating with clients to deeply understand the mental models (values, beliefs, and assumptions) that drive behavior in the organization. We bring respected, high-quality models, tools, and processes to identify those core values leading to sustained success. Together, we design and facilitate whole staff workshops that utilize systems thinking tools to ensure all of the organizations systems and structures are aligned to support living out the core behaviors.
